Sancho Murphy is the founder of the Chop Shop art space which was born during the Braddon revolution which saw food trucks and pop shops change the landscape of Lonsdale St. After launching Lowbrow Bar & Gallery south of Cooyong St (SoCo) Sancho is back in Braddon and the Dirty Laundry has now established itself as a home base to Canberra’s underground arts. In the Palko Building It’s still supporting and showcasing the best artists that Canberra has to offer.
Chop Shop alumni Faith Kerehona had her first show at the warehouse venue in 2014. Since then she has developed a mixed format style of street art, photography, video and painting which can be seen all around Canberra’s public spaces and galleries.
